Headland Electrics have been running a 4 user version of Nectare with standard stock control since December 2005.

Jobs are managed using Service Base, a specialist system for the repair trade. Service Base exports details of the labour, parts and shipping of completed jobs as text files. These job files are imported into Nectare using Nectare's Import module. Invoices and associated job sheets are printed by Nectare and posted to their customers

Sales of refurbished equipment are handled through the sales ledger, stock being automatically adjusted as the invoices are raised. Headland Electrics have substantial contracts to supply and install TVs into hotels, hospitals and prisons. They use the job costing system to help manage these projects and monitor equipment supplied on each contract.
Terry Headland says "that the link to Service Base has been a massive help in saving time and reducing errors. Nectare has also helped their cash flow by speeding up the time taken for accounts to be paid". Their accountants have advised them that their charges for preparing their accounts will be lower now they are using Nectare.
